KU Dance Clinics
Our skills clinics are 3-hour informal clinics taught by the KU Rock Chalk Dancers and coaches at a cost of $50 per participant. Our clinics focus mainly on technique, skill drills and pom tech. Note that these clinics aren't a part of KU's tryouts — they're simply to improve your dance skills and they're open to anyone. Check back later for 2012-13 clinics.
What to Wear at Tryouts
For all three days of tryouts, ladies should wear a sports bra, hot pants/biker shorts, athletic shoes/dance shoes, no jewelry, and your hair should be game-day ready. No hosery or dance tights. Note that these requirements are for safety reasons, and also note that "Overall Image" is a part of your tryout score, so it's in your best interest to look "game-ready."
